This piece is part of Ting Yuen's Artist Diary series.
This is about tapping into our inner child, to look at life with fresh eyes and not be afraid to create and play. When I was nine, I had many imaginary friends and made up stories about them. I also had a dog named Brownie. Sometimes I would sit with him and tell him these stories. My sisters used to tease me, saying one day I would marry Brownie. Another time, we had some ducks and Brownie and the ducks became friends,
they would even go for walks together!
