This year marked the 110 years since the inception of International Women Day. May we stand for equality continuously and nurture humanity. International Women Day's main focus is to close the equality gap worldwide, fight bias, and counteract stereotypes. Hello friends, Thank you for being here to shine your light. Like you, I do believe that one day we will reach gender parity and equality. International Women’s day is important because when we stand for the rights of women we are standing for human rights. Ladies, if you feel unjust, make sure you stand up for yourself and your genders. It is by speaking up with dignity and asking for equality that we can move the world forward. Let us rise above hatred, unfair treatments, and bigotries. We need to set an example to our younger women generation, teach them how to gain respect and not to be objectified, and remind them that equality is the ultimate goal for their future. If we want equality, we have to do our parts every day. Show up as the dignified women that we are and lead by examples. Actions are powerful. When our behaviors are united with our demands, we are empowered to command respect. Our persistence and our consistency will propel changes, it may not happen immediately, but it will. As an artist, I choose to stand up for equality with my women's art. My focus is on women's self-empowerment, respect, and love. It is a mission of mine to support women and to help us to rise above discrimination. My passion is to remind us to stop playing small because the world needs us to shine our light and lead with dignity and wisdom. Since the inception of IWD, Here is an example of what has happened with the political fabric of the world. Change has been a long time coming, as this timeline shows: 1893 – New Zealand becomes the first nation to enshrine full female suffrage, though women are not allowed to stand for election until 1919. 1897 – The National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies is formed in the UK, later to be led by Millicent Fawcett. 1894 – The UK permits single women to vote in local elections, a key stage in the eventual granting of equal suffrage rights in 1928. 1920 – The US amends its constitution to allow women to vote across the country after Utah set the ball rolling in 1896 for individual states to enact their laws. 1986 – Switzerland permits women to vote in nationwide polls. 2015 – Saudi Arabian women vote for the first time, in local elections. WEforum.org Women may not see full equality today because Gender bias is still widespread, but we must not give up, there is still a lot of work that needs attention, and it begins with you and me. Women’s rights are human rights, and we deserve to demand justice and empowerment. With Creative Joy, Ting

When I first started my art career, my kitchen table was my studio then after that, I had many small studios/storages. Twenty-two years later, I got lucky and ended up with (Drumroll) not 1 but 2 ample spaced studios! Hi friends, Paul and I have made an Art Studio Tour Video to share with you. In this video, I will walk you through my two studios and explain their purposes. When I first started, our kitchen table was my studio, I was painting next to the stove. As I became a professional artist, my studio became more workable, but they were more like Studio/storage. That means limited space and some frustrations. Basically, I was painting next to the laundry basket. Last year, Paul and I purchased a larger house so that we can house our studios at home. And, my patience has finally paid off! Now I have two great-sized studios! One for making Art and the other one is my Media Room where I do art coaching and videotaping like this one. If you are an artist, you will find the studio tour useful, because I explained how I set up the studio to maximize efficiency and other tip bits. And if you are an art lover, you will find the studio tour just as interesting because you get to see where I work. Come and see for yourself. I got Paul as my cameraman this time (so lucky). :) BTW it is Raw Footage, so no editing and Paul and I had a lot of fun making the video for you! Enjoy the video, everyone! With Creative Joy, Ting Hey friends, I am too young to retire, and the truth is I love what I do, so I may never stop working, but I will continue to GROW! FAQ Page I have created a Frequently Asked Question Page on my website. I have also added a video explaining the type of art print that I sell. In this video, I explained what a Giclee print is. Furthermore, I also go into detail explaining the difference between a limited and open edition print. You can watch it right here. Enjoy it! With Creative Joy, Ting ![]() Hey friends, Do you have someone in your life that makes everything better for you, the person that makes you feel limitless, and that everything is possible? A Tribute to my Best Friend, Paul, the inspiration behind my Romance Series Artwork. Today, I would like to give tribute to my husband and business partner, Paul. Most of you met me from our Art Rush Gallery. But only some of you had the pleasure to meet Paul. When you visit our gallery, I am the front person who greets you and serves you, but what you do not see is the person in charge of everything else that happens in the back. The person that operates the back end of the gallery is Paul. He works hard in the back so that everything runs smoothly in the front. Paul never asks for recognition, and in my eye, he is the backbone of the business. Our Mighty Little Business is Small by Design and Here are our Whys: Since 2001, the two of us have been operating our Art and Jewelry business together. Our mighty little business is small by design. Paul and I keep our business small because we believe in giving you authentic hand-made products with the best service that we can offer. Our mission is to keep you happy by providing well made products, professional service with a personal touch. And our reputation and reviews testify to our mission. I may be the creator of the art and the stories that go along with them. But I wouldn't be here without my Paul. Paul plays a vital role in our life and business. He is the glue that keeps things going and the anchor that solidifies our livelihood. Paul is the Glue and the Anchor of our Business. While you may not see Paul in the gallery, he is busy designing and making jewelry in the back studio. Paul also patiently photographs my artwork and makes them into prints and art gifts, such as T-shirts, tote bags, journals set up, magnets, and purse mirrors. Wait before you applaud! Paul is also our bookkeeper, wildlife photographer, Web designer, and maintenance guy! Wow! Right? In my eyes, Paul is my hero, always giving us his best. Last but not least, Paul is also the inspiration behind my Romance Series paintings. Well, I can't help it when someone inspires my life so much, I got to paint about it. :) I am so fortunate to have Paul in my corner, and his high standard and dedication are unmatchable in business and life. So friends, who is that person that lights up your life and makes you feel limitless? With Creative Joy, TingPaul is the Glue and the Anchor of our Business. These are the paintings that are inspired by Paul..... Hi Friends, You often tell me that you love the colors and mood of my paintings. I believe, you are referring to the vibrating iridescent colors of my work. The secret is the Glaze that I primed my canvas with that produced the result. Glazing is an application of colors underneath the surface of the painting. In the painting below, you may see green, pink, and brown. But what you don't see is the glaze of the artwork. A Glaze is an application of colors I cover my canvas surface with before I begin to paint. The glaze of this painting below is a crisscross of red, green, and yellow. What the glaze does to a painting is giving the overall artwork a certain vibrancy and excitement. When you look at this painting closely, you will find peaks of reds, yellows, and blues seeping through, creating depth and curiosity. If you were an artist: next time before you paint, try priming your canvas with different glazes of colors, you will love the result of your finished piece. And if you were an art admirer, take a closer look at an original painting and see if the artist had primed the canvas with washes of colors? Or does the painting looks like it was painted without a glaze? Check out the pictures below to see the transformation of the painting. With Creative Joy, Ting Hello friends, Thank you so much for participating in the Testimonial for my Artwork. I received so many beautiful testimonials about my art and surprisingly about my characteristics, which is helpful.
These testimonials will help my potential customers to know more about my art, and it will also serve as a witness to my character, which will build the trust factor. I truly am grateful for your thoughtfulness and your beautiful tribute to my art. You bet I will be using most of them for my marketing. I have picked two winners randomly: and here are the names of the winners. Michelle Bastock and Mardi Gammie, Congratulations! Please, email me and let me know your chosen print. Thank you for participating. Your kindness reminds me of just how fortunate I am to have customers as friends. I truly am blessed. Hi friends, I would like to share with you my new paintings. This series of artwork is called Memories. Last year, Paul and I traveled to South East Asia and visited five countries. In this series, I explore my fascination with travel. When I travel, I love the feeling of freedom, the exoticness of the unknown. To travel well takes an enormous time to plan, which also led me to unplug from Social Media, giving me the time to look up and see the world around me instead of seeing the world through the lenses of my mobile or computer. What I love most about traveling is navigating and embracing the unpredictability. Your travel experience is as rewarding as you want it to be. In my experience, when Paul and I dropped our boundaries and immerse ourselves in their culture, doors open up for us to countless experiences. We did not let our language barrier stop us from making new friends. And because of our willingness to embrace their culture. Paul and I got invited to their homes and enjoyed their genuine hospitality. The challenges of travel and seeing the world with a fresh set of eyes only make us discover more about ourselves and our ability to adapt and solve problems as it arises. It opened our perspective and helped us to learn more about ourselves along the way. Our trip was a life-changing experience, but it also makes Paul and I appreciate our own country and its comfort. These paintings depict my fascination with the unknown, its beauty, and memories that will last our lifetime. the colors are vibrant and textural which expresses my intense love for the exotic lands. I feel so fortunate that Paul and I had such a rewarding trip. I wonder when we would have the chance to travel again with the Pandemic looming above us. I know one thing, as soon as the Pandemic is over, Paul and I will be making plans for our next epic travel. With Creative Joy, Ting Want to win something? I need your help
