Age versus Dreams. I remember when I was young, I was a carefree lady that left home at 18 and went off to find myself. I had lots of dreams, I wanted to be an artist and a fashion designer. Eventually I did do my fashion designing and realized that it was not for me, so I went off to the Cayman Islands with Paul and did a few years stance there and started venturing into the art business and found some success. 10 years ago I opened my first little art gallery in Wells, B.C. and found more success, now I am here in Golden and wondering what is my next big dream. It is amazing how age defines our goal settings. I felt limitless when I was young, I was never afraid of much, now I am an older middle age girl I wonder how many more dreams can I dream up and if they are all possible to come true. I hope so, after all I consider myself a Late Bloomer, so I do look forward to my older self and see what else I can accomplish by the time I hit 100. Here is an interesting article about Carmen Herrera, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Herrera She has always been an artist but she did not get any recognition till she turned 101 years old. Finally at 101, she got her first solo show in the world renowned Whitney Museum. So ladies, it is never too late to chase our dreams, let Age not Define our Potential nor the Scope of our Dreams. Leave me a comment on your thoughts, I would love to hear about it.
